Wizoop
Cookie Policy
Version 1.0 · Effective 5 October 2026
WIZOOP uses only the cookies and browser storage it needs to work. There is no advertising or tracking, so there is no cookie banner to accept.
1. What this covers
Cookies are small files a website saves on your device. Browsers also offer "local storage", which works in a similar way. This policy covers both, and we call them "cookies and similar storage".
2. What WIZOOP stores on your device
Everything below is needed to give you the features you asked for. None of it is used for advertising.
- Sign-in cookie (rr_session): keeps you signed in to your account. It is not readable by scripts on the page and is removed when you sign out or it expires.
- Player identifier and nickname (local storage): lets a quiz recognise a replay from the same device under the same name, remember your nickname, and return you to your team.
- Live-game details (local storage): your name, avatar and the game code, so you can rejoin a live game if the page reloads.
- Preferences (local storage): small choices such as how your Content list is shown, the quiz you were working on in Studio, and whether a parent has confirmed the kids’ corner.
Because this storage is strictly necessary, we do not ask you to accept it.
3. Analytics, advertising and other optional tracking
WIZOOP does not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. If we ever add anything that is not strictly necessary, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before it is switched on.
4. Third-party services
If you choose "Continue with Google", Google’s sign-in script runs on that page and Google may set its own cookies under its own policy. If you do not use Google sign-in, nothing is requested from Google. Our file and image delivery (Cloudflare) may set technical cookies that protect the service from abuse.
5. Managing it
You can see, block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie you will not be able to sign in, and clearing site data will sign you out and forget your saved nickname and team.
